Hats off to the Life Enrichment team at La Loma Village!
Residents had a great time kicking off fall with an Oktoberfest celebration. Here are just some of the comments from the recent event:
“You all are doing such a great job! I can’t believe how many fun things you continue to have for us to do.”
“Thanks for the great party! Food was excellent; service was great; fun music and entertainment! kudos to all for a job well done.”
“You are all a real Godsend. All you do—we are so blessed.”
And in case you are wondering what’s behind the annual German celebration that includes music, food, dancing and beer? Oktoberfest began as a wedding celebration more than 200 years ago when Bavaria’s Crown Prince Ludwig married Princess Therese of Saxony-Hildburghausen on Oct. 12, 1810. The wedding was celebrated with multiple days of drinking, feasting and horse races. The celebration then became an annual event.
Looks like a lot of fun was had by all – thank you La Loma Village Life Enrichment for all you do!
