Though the Arizona Nonprofit Sun Heath Community Education series is hosted at venues all throughout the West Valley, is partnered with Banner Health hospitals, and has had nearly 2,000 attendees, some might still find themselves asking…
Just what exactly is Sun Health Community Education? And why is it so important?
The Sun Health Community Education series is a series of classes, sessions, and informative lectures intended to promote healthy lifestyles and provide free public education programs to seniors throughout the West Valley. By offering weekly and bi-weekly programs, the series aims to provide senior attendees with necessary information so they’ll be able to maintain or even improve their independence and their individual lifestyles.
Located at our Grandview Care Center, the Colonnade, La Loma Village and a number of other venues, each Arizona nonprofit program is designed to educate our attendees on a variety of health topics geared toward seniors.
But what exactly separates Sun Health Community Education from other Arizona nonprofits? Here at Sun Health, whether you’re interested in learning more about coping with a specific condition, understanding the importance of medication management, or improving your day to day health through exercise and diet choices, we work hard to make sure that there is a Community Education program for everyone.
By offering educational medical, financial, and health programs, seniors are then able to get the information they need from doctors, therapists, and instructors they can trust. From yoga classes to pain management sessions, from driving courses to cancer support, each and every event has been scheduled with a single Sun Health goal in mind: to provide care for and education to our entire community.
