Longtime Sun Health Senior Living COO Sharon Grambow was recently promoted
to an executive vice president position within the company, which is the largest locally-owned and operated nonprofit provider of destination retirement communities in Arizona.
SURPRISE, ARIZ. (PRWEB) OCTOBER 28, 2015. Sharon Grambow, chief operating officer for Sun Health Senior Living (SHSL), was recently promoted to executive vice president for the organization.
“Under Sharon’s leadership, Sun Health Senior Living continues to grow as the preeminent provider of independent senior-living options in Arizona,” said Sun Health President and CEO Ron Guziak. “Resident satisfaction and employee engagement scores are both way up and these two important measures are a direct result of Sharon’s leadership and dedication.”
Grambow is responsible for Sun Health’s organizational strategy for its senior living operations. Her duties include overall management of all three SHSL communities and its more than 525 employees. The communities are Grandview Terrace in Sun City West, La Loma Village in Litchfield Park and The Colonnade in Sun City Grand/Surprise.
Grambow joined the organization in 1998, and has served in a variety of capacities including administrator for Grandview Care Center, executive director for Grandview Terrace, and chief financial officer for Sun Health Senior Living Management Company. She possesses more than 20 years of experience in senior housing operations, health care facilities management and property management.
During Grambow’s tenure, SHSL grew from one senior living community with 420 residents to three senior living Life Care communities with more than 800 residents.
She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee and is a certified public accountant. Grambow also is a licensed nursing home administrator and an executive board member of the American Senior Housing Association. She serves as the immediate-past president of WESTMARC and as a board member of Theater Works in Peoria.
