A very special 70th Happy Anniversary wish to Sun Health La Loma Village and Health & Rehabilitation residents Connie and Joe Kramer.
Joe lives in Assisted Living while while Connie lives in Independent Living making the celebration during our pandemic even more challenging.
However, that did not stop LLV’s Director of Life Enrichment Windy Hadley or LLV’s talented songstress and Music Therapist Ione Murray from coming up with a great plan.
“We had a doorway celebration complete with cake, sparkling cider and one of their children was able to join too,” said Windy, adding that Joe’s surprise for his bride was the highlight of the afternoon. “Joe is a beautiful singer, but health challenges made it tough to be solo so Ione worked with him to perform three songs for Connie. Being able to perform for his wife was a true blessing.”
