SUN CITY WEST, ARIZ. – Sun Health Senior Living, a nationally recognized operator of three Arizona retirement communities, has named Linda Lessard admissions/marketing manager at Grandview Care Center (GVCC). The five-star facility offers rehabilitation, assisted living, and skilled nursing services to Northwest Valley residents, including seniors at Grandview Terrace in Sun City West and The Colonnade in Surprise.
Lessard most recently served as the Admissions/Marketing Manager for The Lutheran Home at Topton, a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Topton, Pa. Prior to that, she worked as a retirement counselor at The Highlands at Wyomissing, a CCRC near Reading, Pa.
At GVCC, Lessard’s duties include marketing GVCC to prospective residents and business representatives. In addition, she oversees the admission process for residents.
“I am thrilled with the beautiful campus and the quality of care at Grandview. Also, the teamwork amongst leaders is exceptional,” Lessard said. “I look forward to being part of the team here.”
A native of Reading, Pa., Lessard earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Messiah University and she worked 10 years as a programmer and project manager in the health care field in Pennsylvania.
“Linda’s well-rounded experience makes her a natural fit for this role at Grandview Care Center. We share a similar philosophy serving residents, physicians, clinicians and insurance companies,” said GVCC Administrator Cheryl Knupp.
Named in 2012 and 2013 by US News & World Report as one of the nation’s best Nursing Home facilities, Grandview Care Center is a 133-bed care facility located on the campus of Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center in Sun City West.
