Sun Health’s 2012 Holiday Home Tour – Inspiration, Gifts & Memories, on Saturday, Dec. 1, kicks-off with a tour of a luxury Holiday Rambler RV, features 12 classic, antique or restored cars and drops by a “man cave” fit for an NFL legend.
The tour begins at Sun Health’s Senior Living community, The Colonnade (19116 Colonnade Way in Sun City Grand/Surprise) at 10 a.m., then winds its way through six exquisitely appointed homes in Sun City West and Sun City Grand. This year, guests can choose to travel together in a luxury coach or in their own cars.
Discover family-friendly functionality, stylish details and spacious comfort in the 2012 Holiday Rambler Ambassador on-site before and after the home tours. The 2012 Ambassador offers high-end appliances, hardwood cabinetry, Corian® countertops and a comfortable cockpit with UltraLeather™ six-way power pilot and copilot seats and in-dash driver message center.
C.A.R.S. Clubs of Sun City, Inc. is showcasing 12 classic, antiques, replicars and sentimentals, six before and six after the tour. All cars are pre-1976, including the 1950 two-door Pontiac Chieftain sedan coupe owned by the club’s treasurer, Bruce Lewis who restored the car with his son in 1992.
As if that is not enough testosterone-packed fun, home tour guests will enjoy cocktails in the Fitzpatrick Ranch home belonging to former St. Louis Rams General Manager, Charles Armey. Featuring his Super Bowl XXXIV trophy and other football memorabilia, Charlie’s “man cave” highlights a lifetime love of sports. Just down the hall, enjoy the Armeys’ wine collection artfully displayed in their well-stocked wine cellar.
Tickets are $30 for a self-guided tour, or $35 for a roundtrip tour aboard the coach. Purchase your tickets at www.SunHealthFoundation.org, by calling 623-832-7609 or at Sun Health’s gift shops inside Banner Boswell and Banner Del E.
